- Join a dynamic Packaging business as Senior Manager Application Engineering responsible for leading our Bridgewater NJ Technical Center and lab staff supporting our Paper, Flexible, and Specialty Tapes & Labels Packaging segments.We deliver valued-added solutions and innovation as well as have an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sustainable packaging!
- You shape and develop our Technical Center capabilities to meet the needs of our business and customers.
- You are responsible for the growth, development, and management of a team as well as play a major role in recruiting and hiring future talent.
- You influence and execute the business and technical strategy in collaboration with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Product Development, and other functions.
- You and your team support lab and application work for market segment initiatives, customer projects, and complaint handling.
- You play a leading role in fostering our site and team safety and 5S culture.
- You work at our Headquarter Technical Center in Bridgewater NJ.
- Your travel is minimal, < 10%.
YOUR SKILLS
- Leadership, Collaboration, Accountability, People Development
- Bachelors Degree or above in a relevant engineering/scientific discipline is required.
- 10+ years of experience in an engineering, scientific, laboratory, or technical management role. Strong desire for experience in the packaging industry with adhesives, coatings, film, paper, web converting, and laboratory and analytical equipment
- Lean Six Sigma and/or Project Management certificate preferred
The salary for this role is $112,100.00 - $155,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
