What you´ll do

  • Lead and manage a team of 7 payroll professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high - quality payroll processing for 5 markets (CN, HK, TW, JP, and KR).
  • Drive the payroll transformation project (Dayforce) to holistically improve efficiency and user experience; participate in the M&A project to ensure smooth payroll transition.
  • Oversee the end - to - end payroll process for the region, ensuring accurate and timely payroll calculation, tax withholding, benefits administration, payroll reporting and payroll payment.
  • Responsible for payroll process governance, including developing and implementing payroll procedures, and ensuring compliance (tax, social insurance, data privacy, risk control etc.) with internal and external regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze payroll process, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage payroll system implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting, working closely with DX(IT), Global Process Owner and other stakeholders to ensure system stability and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross - functional teams, including HR, finance, GBS and legal, to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with other business functions.
  • HR Governance: responsible for the audit/ inspection on payroll activities.
  • Be responsible for payroll vendor management to ensure the service quality.
  • Lead or participate in other HR projects.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resource or other related fields.
  • Language: Fluent in English; Workable in Japanese or Korean is nice to have.
  • 5-10 year working experience on payroll.
  • Excellent analytical and problem - solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Proficient in using payroll systems, with experience in system configuration, data management, and process governance. Experience with Dayforce, ADP or SAP systems are highly preferred.
  • Experience in project management, change management.
  • Ability to work under high pressure.
