About this Position

We’re hiring a skilled and safety-driven Electrician to join our team at our chemical manufacturing facility in Dublin. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in automated systems and chemical plant operations, who thrives in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting essential production equipment, supporting consistent operations and continuous improvement. 

What you´ll do

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of production systems in a chemical plant environment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in automation and control systems, ensuring compliance with machinery directive and ATEX standards.
  • Contribute to the safe system of work (SSW) processes, ensuring safety remains a top priority.
  • Provide technical support for plant infrastructure, including motors, drives, control panels, and safety systems.
  • Record and communicate issue resolutions clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to maintain a high standard of operational efficiency and safety.

What makes you a good fit

  • You hold a recognised electrical trade qualification and have solid experience working in chemical, pharmaceutical, or other high-hazard industrial environments.
  • Strong background in automation, fault finding, and the maintenance of control and safety systems.
  • Familiarity with ATEX environments and the handling of hazardous substances is a significant advantage.
  • You bring a proactive, safety-first approach to your work and are confident managing task-related risk.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset—you work well as part of a technical team.
