About this position
What you´ll do
- Full responsibility for packaging spend (+/-50 mEUR) in assigned category in Direct Materials Procurement Consumer Brands Europe
- Initiate and conduct sourcing activities and supplier negotiations, boost the project pipeline in Packaging Material Consumer Brands Europe
- Enrich the procurement category goals and strategies, incl. financial and sustainability targets as well as digitalization with piloting of new tools
- Strengthen cooperation with internal stakeholder as (RnD, Supply Chain and Marketing) and actively collaborate with Regional and Global Procurement Leads Challenge status-quo, identify, drive, and share best practices in Procurement and beyond direct area of responsibility
- Participate and contribute to cross-category projects, find optimization potential within innovations, cost, and process
- Shape your career with various trainings, rotation, and development opportunities in diverse and international environment of Henkel
What makes you a good fit
- Master’s degree in business, engineering, or chemistry
- 4+ years’ work experience in Procurement or related departments, ideally in the FMCG environment
- Motivated, pro-active, self-directed with well-developed soft skills
- Professional negotiation and communication skills required
- Fluency in English language is a must, German language is an advantage
