About this Position

This position prepares marketing strategy in line with the company’s objectives to achieve the sales target and increases brand awareness based on the company’s marketing plans and the requirements of the Korean market. Plans, develops, and executes accordingly yearly marketing plan through new product launches as well as the ongoing support of basic 

What you´ll do

  • Prepare yearly marketing objectives and strategies; Develop marketing strategy and program for each category and star pillars
  • Forecast new launches based on product study, and market and consumer research; Forecast, manage samples, and develop sampling strategy for each star pillars
  • Develop strategic marketing plans (including promotional plans) for brand’s products focused on innovation parts, based on business and market trends through quantitative and qualitative analysis, recommending any necessary strategic changes
  • After the launch of new products, analyze the sales results and feedback from the field, communicate recommendations to the international marketing department, recommend areas for improvement, and revise the sales forecast if necessary; Collaborate and coordinate with various teams on product registration, import, and other logistics functions in order to ensure that the marketing plan is fulfilled within the time schedule
  • Based on the marketing brief provided by Global, as well as all necessary surveys and analyses of Korean market needs and trends, establish the marketing mix for all new products; Set up a pricing strategy in line with HQ guidelines
  • Gather and analyze the performance of competitors’ products; Share and update accurate market information with HQ in a timely manner
  • Produce monthly product-related reports; Coordinate various tasks carried out by different teams and other marketing members

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; Minimum of six (6) years' experience in Product Management or other marketing related field is required
  • Native in Korean and business-level in English are required
  • Excellent command of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is required
  • Passionate about beauty and eager to find new trend and develop concepts
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with all various departments; Highly organized and calendar driven with the ability to handle many important tasks simultaneously
