The Manager, Logistics Sourcing & Projects will be responsible for project support and governance for all logistics procurement categories, as well as contributing to the delivery of successful, sustainable solutions for process improvement, cost savings, and cross-functional excellence. This position is designed for a candidate looking to develop an end-to-end view of logistics procurement while enhancing their career skills toolbox as they look to grow and advance into category management opportunities.

What you´ll do

  • Collaborative, cross-category & cross-functional role with frequent interaction with regional and global stakeholders in procurement, supply chain, commercial and finance teams
  • Represents the entire North American Logistics Procurement team in a professional, collaborative manner
  • Supports the regional team lead and category managers in execution of strategic initiatives, digital project implementations and best-in-class sourcing events
  • Supports and engages in sourcing initiatives such as RFIs, RFPs, eSourcing, market benchmarking and research, and data analytics
  • Identifies and/or executes project & process improvement activities including digital & automation projects, communications & briefing templates, and other solutions supporting key initiatives like supplier relationship management, risk & compliance, KPI tracking & reporting, sustainability, cost savings & avoidance
  • Supports and manages projects related to cost, performance and change management
  • Contributes to the development of annual team and functional objectives
  • Demonstrates potential & desire to move into progressively challenging roles within Procurement or Supply Chain

  • Ability and desire to foster collaborative relationships across various functions within procurement and across the organization (ex: supply chain operations, commercial pricing teams).
  • Four-year college degree with 4+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain in a chemical, industrial or CPG environment (strong preference for a background in logistics procurement or operations), or MBA degree with a minimum of three years of related experience.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory, both written & spoken – all other languages are a plus!
  • Proficiency with systems & tools such as SAP, Ariba, PowerBi, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

The salary for this role is $95,000.00 - $110,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
