About this Position
You shall monitor and track key transporter’s key metrics such as on-time performance, complaints per transporters with RCA submitted and prepare regular Transportation KPI reports to support decision-making and operational improvements.
What you´ll do
- Coordinate and support the transport planning process to ensure delivery of goods on-time
- Coordinate with transport planner closely and ensures availability of carriers
- Coordinate with warehouses and Customer Service Control Tower
- Plan deliveries and solve issues communicated from transport planner during the planning process
- Provide new / changed master data to transport planner
- Review and propose improvements on transport planning scope, i.e. exclusion of lanes
- Manage transport complaints
- Provide reconciliation of deviations in carrier invoicing with Purchasing / Finance
- Prepare transport KPIs and reports
What makes you a good fit
- Minimum 3 years of working experience,
- BE/ B.Tech with good analytical skills,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Excel (advanced functions) and data analysis tools, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau),
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, Certification in transportation or supply chain management if any,
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), knowledge of transportation cost structures, freight pricing, and logistics operations.
