What you'll do

  • Support creation and delivery of effective activation programs of Henkel’s top sponsorships in the US and Canada, with specific focus on the company’s flagship sponsorship of US Soccer, as well as the company’s STEM education program, and vetting and activation of sponsorship programs designed to advance the company reputation as a leader in sustainability and diversity.
  • Support Internal and External Communications team in event planning to activate Henkel Corporate sponsorships and support collateral and communications as part of a cross functional team driving awareness and engagement in Henkel’s top sponsorships within North America.
  • Collaborate with product brand teams to develop and execute top sponsorship opportunities, demonstrating creativity and innovation in sponsorship and marketing strategies.
  • Professionally liaison with leadership and designated account teams at partner non-profits as well as community leaders, youth sports players and their families as well as educators and elementary school children (background check and training required).
  • Create sponsorship project summaries for executive review, taking complex information and presenting in a concise, digestible view.
  • Facilitate data needs for execution as well as tracking ticket allocations, ensuring compliance with Corporate Standards and accurate reporting to Finance.
  • Support interface with external suppliers, agencies and venues and coordinating a wide range of services, including space allocation, traditional and digital signage, attendee flows, security, food & beverage, temp staff sourcing and management, transportation, giveaways, etc.
  • Deliver data-driven presentations; clearly articulate findings in written reports and PowerPoint decks using charts, graphs, tables, maps and other exhibits.
  • Track and report sponsorship effectiveness and costs, examining opportunities to optimize investments according to company strategy.

What makes you a good fit

  • 3-5 years of professional non-internship marketing experience building, executing, and scaling multiple, complex, multi-faceted events, ideally related to sports sponsorship marketing activations and PR.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing or related field.
  • Experience in sponsorship fulfillment and relationship management, preferably within the sports, entertainment, hospitality or attractions industries. Additional community relations or education experience a plus.
  • Proven track record of managing sponsorships and working in collaboration with marketing teams that represent a diverse set of product brands.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills. 
  • Proven ability to manage agency partners.
  • Strong project management skills including complex event calendars, and ability to multitask with tight deadlines.
  • Budget management capabilities.
  • General understanding of market research using data to drive strategy; reporting experience including using research, hard data, and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.
  • Experience interfacing with external suppliers, agencies and venues and coordinating a wide range of services, including space allocation, traditional and digital signage, attendee flows, security, food & beverage, temp staff sourcing and management, transportation, giveaways, etc.
  • The ability to frequently travel nationally, including weekends (some holidays) and stays up to a week, to attend highly strategic events, scout locations, or spot-check vendor execution. Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Demonstrable experience creating engaging, unexpected, and successful event and / or campaign experiences.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience in Sprinklr or CMS systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of the sport of soccer.

The salary for this role is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
