What you'll do
The Supply Chain Steering Specialist is a key member of the Henkel Consumer Brands (HCB)- Hair Professional Supply Chain Team. This position works closely with the leadership team and the North American supply chain teams to create processes and procedures for various aspects of the supply chain. This position plays a significant role in improving and delivering results in a fast-paced complex supply chain business model.
- New Product Introduction
- Collaborates with North American New Product Introduction Teams to provide input from a Canadian perspective and to localize timelines.
- As a part of the Canadian planning team, works closely with the local brand, logistics, customer service and Global plannings teams to ensure product availability to all customers while also balancing this by maintaining adequate inventory levels to avoid excess stock of slow and obsolete inventory.
- Analytics.
- Performs supply chain analysis for supply chain teams using Power BI.
- Recommends solutions for improvements and savings based on analysis.
- Quality.
- Work together with North American quality team to manage impacts of quality disruptions, informing local supply chain and managing impact.
- Regulatory.
- Working with North American regulatory team, understands impacts of changing regulations in Canada and works with supply, demand and brands teams to implement plan of action.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering.
- 2-4 years of experience within supply chain/operations with focus on Demand Planning or Supply Planning using ERP systems is mandatory.
- SAP Experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in building reports in Power BI.
