YOUR ROLE

  • Scientific associate PD for sustainable functional coating development for paper package application.
  • Technical expertise to drive product innovation on both technologies and applications.
  • Collaborate with teams of corresponding leadership/stakeholders and associated customers/external parties that allow the achievement of business goals.
  • Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead new product development, localization and/or modification independently following SHE guideline based on business requirements in Asia Pacific.
  • Supporting AE and business team on technical problem solving and technical training if required.
  • Support operation team to complete new product scale-up, optimize manufacturing process and solve quality problem with related products.
  • Supporting purchasing and PLM team for alternative RM scouting and COGS project.
  • Study available patent landscape and strengthen Henkel’s IP in the related industry.
  • Accountabilities (Time in %)

  • Product development, localization and modification.                    70%
  • Product scale up, process optimization and quality improvement.                    20%
  • Support AE and business team for technical problem solving and training.                    10%

YOUR SKILLS

  • Graduated with a Master in Polymer, Material and Chemistry, PhD preferred.
  • English fluent for daily communication.
  • 4-5 years’ experience in functional coating industry preferred.
  • Quick learner, open-minded and good communication skills.
