YOUR ROLE

• Plan, organize and supervise regional tax activities to optimize tax structure and set-up to minimize tax burden and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Review and improve tax relevant processes, guarantee adequate internal controls are executed, with special focus on cross-border transactions and Transfer Price requirements.
• Identify and steer tax planning opportunities, tax compliance and tax reporting in close collaboration with local and global teams.
• Monitor and contribute to minimize tax expenses by e.g. optimizing NTDE, using tax incentives, as well as monitoring relevant Tax KPIs.
• Drive the implementation of global tax projects and cross-country tax-matters and collaboration among tax teams.
• Act as subject matter expert on global trade topics, such as Export Controls or Import compliance, mentors team members on these topics 
• Lead execution of audits, risk assessment.
• Interface with external service providers and regulators.  
  
  

YOUR SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree, ideally MBA in Finance
• 12 years' experience working in a related field, ideally International Tax and Global Trade
• Experience in working in complex matrix environments
• Familiar with corporate multinational organizations 
• Strong strategic and communication skills 
• Passion for detail in complex structures
