YOUR ROLE

  • Product development, localization and modification to meet SBU targets.
  • Project/Program Management skills/tools to drive regional/global projects for business and corresponding leadership/stakeholders.
  • Actively make specialized knowledge available to the assigned BU, contribute notably to road mapping of technology development.
  • Support operation team for successful products delivery and support Application Eng. and business team on problem solving.
  • Act as technical consultant internally and externally and provide technical training if required.
  • Recognize available patent landscape and strengthen Henkel ‘s IP through patent development in area of competence.
  • Proactively contribute to the site's safety and 5S programs.
  • Other assignments from PD manager.
  • Principle scientist for EPIC PU/MS adhesives can also be considered.
  • YOUR ROLE CAN OFFER YOU

  • Work in the APAC product development team to drive innovation, closely with global and regional customers, supplier partners.
  • Get in touch with the latest customer needs and market changes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional and commercial team in developing innovative technology, state of art new products, and solutions for automotive components market.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree or higher in polymer science.
  • At least 5 years work experience in polyurethane/modified silane based product development.
  • Fluent verbal & written communication in English & Chinese.
  • Knowledges in automotive industry is preferred.
