YOUR ROLE

  • Translate business strategy into technical capabilities, features and specifications; create technological roadmap and ensure alignment of platform requirements with concrete product;
  • Collaborate with Business Owner to manage and prioritize backlogs based on operational KPI targets
  • Responsible for technical product life cycle (design, development, delivery, operations, continuous enhancements, end of life), ensure it’s alignment with business & customer needs
  • Identify synergies and address interdependencies of technology employed by other teams
  • Resource planning, set up and management of technical product team
  • Ensure a holistic view on the product, which includes also Legal, data office and Henkel IT standards
  • Ensuring product meets quality standards and compliance requirements, as well as adheres to the standards of security and data privacy

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or business informatics
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a data engineering environment
  • Proven track record in working closely with non-technical teams translating complex business problems into measurable data products
  • Ability to transition from bird-eye-view to detailed view and back
  • Strong skills in presenting concepts in verbal and written format to both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Coding skills in Python, R or similar languages
  • Fluent in English, German language skill is a plus
