YOUR ROLE

  • We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Data Analytics and Modeling Specialist to join our Digital Twin and Data Analytics team. This central R&D team supports the development of digital twins and data analytics across all Henkel Adhesive Technologies
  • Lead and support data analytics and modeling projects, empowering Product Development, Production, and Technical Customer Service
  • Keep abreast of new AI solutions and initiatives to support product innovation
  • Analyze complex processes to optimize material performance in applications
  • Develop, implement, and deploy data and theory-based modeling methods to add value to Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies
  • Integrate modeling methods of various detail (system, process, components, materials) linking to live data streams and databases to create digital twins
  • Share specialized knowledge within the organization and consult with Adhesive Business Units on statistics and data analytics
  • Participate actively in global cross-functional teams and engage with customers. Shape the future of new material development by offering AI solutions to innovation leveraging existing data
  • Collaborate with Universities and Research Institutions

YOUR SKILLS

  • PhD or Master’s degree in in an Engineering Discipline/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Data Science/ or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in delivering Data Analytic results and products
  • Proficient in data analytics and modeling, including modern machine learning approaches
  • Familiar with scripting or programming tools (e.g. Python, R, Matlab) and basic understanding of cloud infrastructure services (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of experimental design (DOE) provided by tools such as Minitab or JMP
  • Strong collaboration & communication skills, and a team player mindset
  • Fluent in English
