YOUR ROLE
- Analysis of the logistics network for process improvement, cost saving, and service enhancement opportunities
- Drive logistics excellence process and systems initiatives in conjunction with global COE
- Identify, develop, and deliver productivity initiatives using Lean methodologies to improve operational and financial performance
- Ensure that projects are delivered as per expectation through rigorous follow up and deadline tracking; Analysis of operational metrics and providing timely reporting and process improvement initiatives based on findings
- Monitoring of logistics service providers operational and cost performance; Control and approve 3PLs invoices
- Support the Logistics Manager to develop, manage and deliver the logistics operations budget; Support Logistics tenders and suppliers’ selection
- Deputy of Logistics manager for decision on critical operational issues
YOUR SKILLS
- Degree qualified in Supply Chain or a comparable degree; At least 7 years’ experience in Logistics Management ideally in FMCG/Retail industry
- Experience in Logistics management of 3rd party warehouse providers, carriers and freight forwarders
- Proven experience in project management and leading continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills; Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong analytical and cost controlling abilities; Highly proficient in Excel
- Experience with Logistics Management in SAP (highly regarded)
- Sound communication and presentation skills
