YOUR ROLE
- Leverage technical expertise in the packaging area and contribute to new product development to ensure attractive quality design and alignment with Henkel's sustainability strategy (e.g. post-consumer resin applications)
- Bring together existing and new packaging know-how, both internally and externally, to identify and implement creative solutions for safety, quality, agility, sustainability, and cost optimization
- Develop and protect intellectual properties
- Provide technical support to solve package related factory quality problems and customer complaints
- Drive competitive technical advantage by deeply understanding consumer/ professional competitor packaging technologies
- Maximize the learnings by sharing with entire Henkel organization
- Prepare and manage technical documentation in Henkel System
- Lead dialogues with key internal and external stakeholders to execute above mentioned tasks
YOUR SKILLS
- 3+ year working experience in personal or beauty care product packaging development
- Packaging material related education background e.g., Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Material science, Engineering design, etc. with B.S. or M.S degree
- Strong self-motivation and can-do mindset
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in English and Japanese
- Nice to have: Working experience in hair related product package development
- Experience in using the BI interface such as Tableau and Power BI
- Fundamental knowledge on statistics
- Fundamental understanding of cosmetic and quasi drug regulatory affairs in Japan
