About this position
What you´ll do
- Support the identification of future market trends and translate them into business growth opportunities, focusing on developments in products and innovation
- Support Sales and Marketing teams by leveraging a deep understanding of product, market, technology, and customer needs for new projects
- Analyze and develop various future scenarios to create new business pathways, including timing and investment planning
- Contribute to the development of strategy maps and customer roadmaps to guide profitable growth at global, regional, and local levels
- Execute and tailor strategies for product and technology positioning while defining training and promotional needs in collaboration with Marketing
- Foster close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Key Account Management (KAM), and Product Development to steer strategic activities effectively
- Build relevant customer and market relationships via a range of approaches (eg direct contact, marketing campaigns, attending and supporting key events such as exhibitions and trade fairs etc)
- Develop and implement business analysis instruments to provide market insights and competitive intelligence
What makes you a good fit
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Engineering or similar with ideally 5 years of relevant work experience in Sales, Application Engineering, Business Development or similar
- Outstanding strategic skills, technical understanding and commercial acumen
- Ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions
- Excellent networking skills to build and maintain relationships internally & externally
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing market conditions and adjust business development strategies accordingly
- Highly motivated and diligent person with an ability work quickly, effectively and proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills and fluent English language skills
