What you'll do
Responsible for the growth and development of the Schwarzkopf Professional Brands within the Salon business in an assigned territory. Adheres with the overall Hair Professional brand strategies for purposeful growth. Maintains relationships with accounts by actively calling on them regularly as agreed on with manager and per route plan.
- Achieve monthly sales plan, including sales goals and quantitative and qualitative targets.
- Management of existing salon customers
- Information & Sell-in of Product, Promotions, and Education
- Key Customer Business plan (KBP); objectives and development Program for each customer
- Work-with Inside Sales: transitioning accounts to and from Inside sales based on Key metrics
- Execution of customer agreements and Loyalty programs
- Taking stock & order, upselling, and increasing share of wallet, in sync with SALONORY (E-Com-B2B)
- Work-with Brand Educators on customer visits/coverage
- Sell Education events: shows and hands-on cutting, colouring, and styling classes
- To actively prospect for new business as agreed upon with RSM
- To sell products & services according to commercial conditions and considering each brand positioning
- To attend and support all related customer needs to assure successful development of all brands
- Use SALONORY to grow B2B
- Order-taking and Customer Care & Merchandising for large decentral chains
- Check of Customer Service deliverables: Printing/sending of contracts; General administration: OTC and Retail tax forums, new account documentation etc.; New Customer Acquisition (NCA); Competitor information;Information collection and transfer to Regional Sales Manager about market situation and activities: promotions, customer spend, launches, trips, payment terms, trainings, etc.; Information sharing (with Sales/Marketing and Education via written reports).
- Administrative Tasks: Route planning, Customer data setup/maintaining (contact details, segmentation information, payment terms; Visit preparation review of customer profile template; Customer portfolio analysis (customer penetration opportunities), (Outstanding payments analysis)? Credit Card as Payment
What makes you a good fit
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in calling on accounts and following a route plan.
- Proficient in relevant technologies, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other functional groups such as Marketing and Education.
- Valid driver's license required.
