PROGRAM OVERVIEW

HRP is a 24-month rotational program for Adhesive Technologies.The program is designed to attract and develop a talent pipeline with accelerated knowledge of Henkel gained through immersive learning experiences, that leads to diverse career opportunities across our Adhesives business in the United States.

During the program you will:

  • Be exposed to diverse aspects of the Adhesives business through rotations, in different business units and divisions.
  • Work on exciting tasks and own projects.
  • Participate in individually tailored learning sessions that ensure your professional development.
  • Receive high level visibility and guidance from a mentor, subject matter experts and senior leaders throughout the program.

Mobility is required. You will be required to relocate for your rotations to different Henkel Corporate sites during your 24-month program.Locations are based on business need and will be at one of our Henkel Corporate locations. Your first rotational location will be announced prior to your start date (Rocky Hill, CT, Madison Heights, MI, Bridgewater, NJ).

At the end of the program, based on performance, you may be offered your next exciting role in one of our business units where the knowledge and expertise learned through the program will propel your career forward.

What you'll do

  • As part of a product development team, you will work in adhesive bonding and surface science to meet the needs of both internal and external customers through lab-based development projects and activities.
  • You will spend approximately 8 months in each rotation where you will develop a deep understanding of multiple adhesive chemistries, applications, and markets specific to your business unit as well as an overall knowledge of our product portfolios.
  • In each rotation, in addition to developing and formulating adhesives for specific applications, you will have the opportunity to learn about your own skills and to grow personally through the wide range of courses made available to each associate.

What makes you a good fit

  • Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Material Science is required.
  • Knowledge of structure-property relationship of materials, experience with polymers and surface science, and a background in organic chemistry are preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and collaboration within teams in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace (previous internship/co-op experience is preferred).
  • Digital literacy and experience with data analysis tools, project management software and MS Office to manage tasks and communicate with others.
  • Available for full-time employment in July 2025.
  • Position does not offer immigration sponsorship or support.

The salary for this role is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
