Being innovative means finding and implementing new and better – also revolutionary – solutions. It all started in 1907, when Fritz Henkel developed the first self-acting detergent and hereby, set the company credo to make people’s lives easier, better and more beautiful.
To achieve this, on the one hand long-term observations of trends that could be of use for Henkel, such as consumer wishes and future technologies are implemented. On the other hand, regular home visits done by product managers maintain good relations to customers.
This has been proved successfully. For example, the Laundry & Home Care business sector was named “Best Innovator 2005” by the business magazine “Wirtschaftswoche” and A.T. Kearney in recognition of its innovation strategy.
