A distribution structure for cosmetic products has been operating in Kazakhstan since 1993. The detergents business in the region commenced operations in 2004. In 2006, Henkel opened a regional headquarters in Almaty. The top brands are Bref, Diademine, Fa, Gliss Kur, Liofol, Loctite, Losk, Palette, Pemolux, Pril, Persil, Schauma, Taft and Teroson. Henkel Bautechnik was established in 2006. Its most important brands are Ceresit, Makroflex and Thomsit, Metylan, Moment-1, super Moment and Nail Power. The first Kazakhstan Bautechnik production started the production in 2008.
