Tina Müller was born in Bad Neuenahr, Germany, in 1968. After completing a double degree in business and economics in Germany and in France, she gained her first professional experience in the branded goods industry at two cosmetics firms, L'Oréal Deutschland and Wella AG.

In 1995, she joined Henkel KGaA as a Product Manager in International Marketing. In the late 1990s, she was the Marketing Manager for the global Henkel hair care and colorants businesses under the Schwarzkopf umbrella brand.

In 2002, she became Marketing Director for the Italian Henkel cosmetics business.

In 2004, she returned to headquarters, where she managed the global Henkel hair business as Corporate Vice President.

In 2006 she was appointed Corporate Senior Vice President. Since then, she has managed not only the global hair business, but also the international skin care and oral care businesses. This includes responsibility for Henkel’s largest individual brand, Schwarzkopf, with sales of 1.6 billion euros, the skin care brand Diadermine, and the oral care brand Theramed.
