About this Position
Procurement – Direct Material process purchasing transactions for direct materials (related to raw material for production). Responsible for the continuity support the business operations in supply chain area (import and local source materials supply), implementing the procurement procedure, improve raw material & packaging to meet customer satisfaction. In additional is to support consignment process to meet customs regulation & supplier agreement
What you´ll do
- Responsible on procurement operational related for imported and local material which cover purchase order processing, supplier order confirmation, delivery and good received monitoring inventory stock to support material availability for production.
- Actively sourcing alternative options for materials/suppliers in order to ensure material availability, improve delivery, maintain quality and cost effectiveness of materials/suppliers.
- Ensure processing document for payment meet with agreement in term of pricing & quantity posting before payment execute as well as approval done through VIA
- Coordination with Material Planning about material forecast, material requirement and the requested delivery date. This information to be updated regularly to represent the latest figure.
- Coordination with Quality Department for direct material quality issue and supplier communication.
- Ensure consignment process properly done meet with customs regulation & agreement with supplier
- Ensure all procurement procedures are in place, implemented and align with quality system including the documentation.
- To promote and maintain the quality of work by implementing SHEQ policy and 5 S amongst working area.
- Should conduct business on behalf of Henkel Adhesive Technologies in line with Henkel Business ethics policy.
- Liaise with internal and external stake holders in order to build a good environment of work.
- Negotiation with supplier in term of specific requirement (packaging, label, prolongation letter, etc.) and make arrangement for special delivery (premium freight).
- To ensure that all activities are properly according to SHE Policy
