About this Position
In this role, you will be responsible for lab testing, providing technical training to internal teams and customers, and offering product recommendations. You will conduct field visits for technical support, troubleshooting, and demonstrations while documenting in CRM and LIM systems. Additionally, you will oversee customer samples in the lab, report results, and address quality issues. You will also stay updated on industry trends and represent local initiatives in regional meetings.
What you´ll do
- Assuming responsibility for lab testing, providing training to internal teams and Paper packaging customers about related technologies
- Responsible for providing technical information, product recommendation and show product/application know-how for Paper packaging customers during field visits
- Perform technical visits (meetings, audits, demonstrations, troubleshooting, etc.) for customers with documentation in the CRM tool and the LIM system
- Responsible for products application / technical training and coaching of field sales forces and customers. Supporting Sales team during sales cycle.
- Ensuring to be up to date with the newest trends in product and application technology for the Paper packaging and Specialty tapes labels market
- Occasionally supervise the laboratory work (incl. prioritization) for samples coming from customers, and report technical results to customers and sales
- Reports quality issues / customers claims to relevant parts of the organization (incl. CCMS/CAPRIS)
- Responsible for directly communicating with sales, marketing, PD, Innovation, members of AE field team or project team members
- Presenting related local initiatives/projects in IMEA Regional Meetings.
What makes you a good fit
- University degree from a reputable university, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials & Metallurgical Engineering
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Flexible to travel frequently – 60% field & 40% Henkel Tech Center (regular short-term business trips throughout Turkey to Paper Packaging customers and other facilities)
- Advanced user of MS Office applications
- SAP Knowledge is a plus
- B Class valid driving license
