About this position
What you´ll do
- Manage relationships with key local stakeholders, collaborate on initiating cost-saving projects or other benefits.
- Seek and develop new suppliers to enhance competitiveness, negotiate stronger positions, and optimize costs.
- Define regional/local demands, ensure transparency by analyzing purchasing data, establish specific metrics for negotiations.
- Scan the market, identify potential suppliers, conduct compliant electronic tenders/procurements, and manage supplier selection and implementation.
- Direct and enforce procurement compliance and sustainability among local colleagues, ensuring all standards are clearly understood and strictly adhered to.
- Manage regional and global project developments and local changes.
- Monitor service escalation paths and end-to-end process quality, ensure compliance with StP activities in collaboration with SSC and legal teams.
- Manage local/regional supplier base, identify potential supplier rationalizations.
What makes you a good fit
- University degree.
- 3+ years of experience in similar jobs.
- Negotiation and contract management skills for effective supplier relationships.
- Analytical abilities to assess market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate record-keeping.
- English language (advanced level, written and verbal).
- Knowledge of SAP application.
