About this position
What you´ll do
- Participating to the project as of design phase and provide feedback/input from the Operations team.
- Leads the start-up end-to-end operational scope definition.
- Coordinates all subject matter experts (VSU team) to prepare a successful start-up.
- Ensures the Operations Assessment is completed.
- Leads the Start-Up success criteria and OEE glidepath /ramp-up.
- Designs and leads Trials, Commissioning, Qualification and Verification details plans.
- Ensure that equipment, materials, people and processes are implemented well enough to ensure smooth mass production according to expected performance.
- Attends the FAT together with representatives from Engineering and Operations team.
- Action creation and follow up on the punch list items (incl FAT).
Required skills and qualifications:
- Min. bachelor’s degree (technical, chemical, technology)
- 2+ years of experience in production or manufacturing start-ups
- Knowledge of VSU methodologies and tools like FMEA, process validation, and SOP creation
- Experience in managing budgets and timelines for new production projects
- Strong understanding of safety, health, environment, and compliance regulations
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine commissioning, and production workflows
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project goals
- Expertise in project management, particularly in leading production line startups or new technology integration
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in risk assessment and troubleshooting during startup phases
- Familiarity with safety, quality standards and production KPIs
- Good level of English is preferred
