About this Position

The Sustainability project manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT projects that support Henkel’s sustainability initiatives. The manager works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 

What you´ll do

  • Take ownership of project results and ensure accountability for outcomes
  • Understand and design Business Requirements and translate them into IT deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and prototype innovative solutions
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for successful project execution
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to prioritize use cases
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress
  • Identify and evaluate use cases for applying digital technologies
  • Communicate technical concepts and data-driven insights to non-technical
    stakeholders effectively

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change with minimum of 3-5 years of experience
  • Strong analytical and solution driven skills, with the ability to assess and address complex sustainability challenges within digital environments
  • Proficient in architectural frameworks, cloud computing, and sustainable technologies
  • Experience with green IT practices and environmental compliance is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
