What you´ll do

  • Accountable for full regional category spend all projects associated
  • Enriches pro-actively & challenges (together with r-KAM) global sourcing strategies defined by g-CTL & g-CTM
  • Ensures consistent execution of aligned sourcing strategies in the region Manages & executes (most) regional sourcing projects and contracting in the CT
  • Builds in depth knowledge and expertise on the regional supplier bases & supplier markets and manages regional supplier portfolio
  • Builds & manages relationships with regional CT relevant stakeholders
  • Actively participates in global CT governance and interacts frequently with g-CTL, g-CTM, r-KAM and r-SPM Lead
  • Delivers regional CT targets & provides transparency on regional KPIs and performance to g-CTL
  • Creates early awareness about needed r-SPM team resources to implement sourcing projects
  • Shares CT know-how with r-SPM team & supports r-SPM team in executing sourcing projects performed for the CT (i.e. supplier escalations)
  • Steers & executes also non-sourcing related FP topics / tasks in the region (Sustainability / LKSG, corporate projects, audits etc.)

What makes you a good fit

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Experience managing a category, including vendor management and strategic sourcing.
  • Advanced conversational English (both written and spoken).
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships and align goals.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic work environments and effectively manage change.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
