What you'll do
As the Legal Specialist, you will play a critical role in proactively supporting legal operations across multiple business units, professional functions, and sub-business units within Henkel. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Offering sound legal advice to various stakeholders, helping to navigate complex legal matters and ensure alignment with business goals and Henkel Corporate Standards.
- Negotiating, preparing, and reviewing contracts to ensure compliance and safeguard Henkel’s interests.
- Managing external disputes and overseeing litigation matters, working closely with external counsel where needed.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance legal workflows and processes, streamlining operations for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
What makes you a good fit
- Law Degree from a reputable university and licensed to practice law (must be qualified).
- Minimum 8 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE), out of which minimum is 3 years of law firm experience.
- Experience in Commercial laws, handling a variety of complex matters.
- Experience in the GCC preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
