What you´ll do
- The main task is to increase the availability of the machines through targeted problem-solving and continuous improvements.
- Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyze data for critical product and process parameters. - Use this data to identify process losses.
- Work with line management to prioritize improvement opportunities (top losses).
- Eliminate or reduce (prioritized) losses through making process or work system changes.
- Participate in the daily direction-setting process (SIM) – report results, flag issues and request resources.
- Define, train and audit critical daily management systems, e.g. centre-lining (run-to-target).
- Share and reapply learning across processes, modules and plants.
- Prepare and give training on process/equipment changes.
- Develop him/ herself through participating in corporate and external training.
- Regular monitoring of the area regarding centerline, defects and standards & development of improvement plans
Required skills and qualifications
- Proficiency in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes for production efficiency, quality, and safety
- Strong technical skills in problem solving, flow optimization, root cause analysis, and standardization
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
- Competence in data analysis for process monitoring and enhancement
- Effective communication skills for documentation and training
- Good level of English is preferred
- Min. bachelor’s degree (technical, chemical, technology, or industrial engineering)
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role
- Experience working in cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
