About this Position
Regional Sales Manager (General Trade) plays a crucial role in overseeing sales operations within EAST region. This position focuses on managing sales activities, relationships, and business growth within the traditional retail sector, which includes independent retailers, wholesalers, and other non-modern trade outlets.
What you´ll do
- Strategies and drive GTM for general trade East India
- P&L responsibility of the channel.
- Drive Sales and distribution with strong BTL execution also operational excellence in General trade sales.
- Increase the coverage as per GTM strategy by brand.
- Distributor management: Responsible for distribution in targeted outlets/ ROI/AR etc., driving distributors as per contract.
- Develop team of BDMs, BDE and SOs
- Develop BA network for the region with allocated manpower.
- Review and planning by market and by channel to grow business.
- Market recovery and DB recovery.
- Cost to sales control for manpower on ground
- Cost to sales responsibility for BTL
What makes you a good fit
- Minimum 8 Years of experience with similar role or at regional role.
- Goal oriented with ability to set clear priorities and meet deadlines.
- Go getter and self-driven attitude.
- Prior experience of working for FMCG brand is a must.
- Strong analytical ability to read and act upon data for decision making.
- People management, excellent negotiation skills, good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
