About this position



What you´ll do

  • Support business units, the global sustainability strategy team, and other stakeholders in net zero and circularity decisions by conducting complex calculations and statistical analysis on data assets for climate reporting, including scenario analysis, forecasting, optimization, and performance evaluations 
  • Create ad-hoc, complex reports that offer meaningful insights and perform data analysis to shape the climate related data landscape to help stakeholders make informed decisions 
  • Simulate effects of different calculation methods, offer strategic guidance on consequences, and present results to relevant stakeholders for decision-making 
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the development of automation- and visualization tools and participate in software testing 
  • Support and upskill the GHG and LCA team in data analytic matters 

What makes you a good fit

  • Master’s degree in Computer science, Engineering or Natural Sciences or related field with 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Expertise in quantitative research and statistics, as well as Data Mining and Data Visualization 
  • First-hand experience using SQL, Python, or R 
  • Expertise in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Accounting, including GHG relevant accounting- and reporting standards (GHG protocol, Scope 3) as well as assurance activities are a plus
  • Experience in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) related data modelling and forecasting are of advantage, just as further knowledge of LCA standards (ISO 14067) are an advantage
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated resilience in handling high-pressure situations and adapting to rapidly changing environments
  • A strong multi-tasker-capable of planning, organizing details while communicating effectively on all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence within a multi-matrix organizational structure, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive initiatives forward
  • Business Proficiency in English, German is a plus
