What you'll do
We are seeking a Senior Animation Designer with a strong background in 3D modeling and visual effects (VFX) to join our creative team. In this role, you will conceptualize, design, and execute high-quality animations and VFX sequences that bring products and environments to life. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver immersive visuals across multiple platforms, mentor junior designers and uphold top-tier quality and technical standards throughout the production pipeline.
- Create high-fidelity 3D models / Animations of products and environments with an emphasis on detail and realism, adhering to brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Conceptualize and implement VFX compositions into live-action footage or 3D scenes, ensuring a seamless blend of visuals.
- Oversee Animation Projects, from pre-visualization and storyboard concepts to final renders and post-production.
- Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to junior animators, modelers, and VFX artists, guiding them toward professional growth.
- Work closely with marketeers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and engaging visual storytelling.
Collaborate with producers and project managers to set realistic deadlines and maintain efficient workflows.
What makes you a good fit
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in animation, VFX, or a related field.
- Advanced level of English language.
- A strong portfolio/reel showcasing expertise in 3D modeling, product/environment animation, and visual effects implementation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software such as 3DS Max, Blender, Cinema 4D or Maya for modeling, animation and scene setup, expertise in simulation tool such as Houdini, and compositing software Adobe After Effects, Nuke, or similar.
- Solid understanding of animation principles, particle systems, dynamics, fluids, and advanced simulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized with exceptional time-management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative mindset that thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Minimum salary: 1900 EUR gross (Of course, an overpayment is possible depending on the respective training, qualification and professional experience. The gross salary is based on these aforementioned criteria and is finally determined after the personal interview.)
