About this Position

  • This position will be responsible for overall supply planning activities, design and implementation of supply planning strategy in APAC for Henkel Adhesive Technology.
  • This role leads the entire supply chain planning organization for the region in the responsible areas of network and planning parameters, including distribution planning, finish goods planning, raw & packing material planning and procurement as well as sales & operation planning across all countries in APAC region. 

What you´ll do

  • Define and implement Supply Network deployment and replenishment process and performance.
  • Steer S&OP process and Supply planning review meeting to ensure the balance of demand and supply.
  • Ensure the inventory policies are respected, and inventory position and volume are optimized to support the business development.
  • Establish the rough-cut capacity planning to improve the short-term supply chain performance, as well as provide information measurement for long-term investment.
  • Ensure accurate input of demand and distribution planning and execute further supply planning.
  • Define and implement Next Generation of Planning with global and local supply chain and operations organization.
  • Implement S&OE across all APAC sites and cover all technology networks.
  • Cooperate with all APAC Operation sites and other AO function teams, including customer service, logistics, trading goods planning and SC enablement teams, to improve overall delivery of forecast accuracy, customer satisfaction, operation efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure raw & packing material procurement activities are in line with the strategy of Direct Procurement Adhesive Technologies, actively identify and execute cost saving opportunities with direct procurement team.
  • Own the regional supply planning related PDI/KSI, and ensure the best organization and people is in place with collaboration culture, collaboration effectiveness and cost efficiency.

What makes you a good fit

  • 10+ years of industry expertise, MNC and supply chain planning background preferred.
  • Master degree with major in supply chain management, Business Administration, or industrial engineering.
  • Leading large size of supply chain teams experience.
  • Capability of dealing with complex business requirement and organization needs.
  • Language: Fluent English is must; excellent Mandarin is preferred.
  • Strategic Orientation: The ability to think both short-term and long-term, beyond his/her own area. See the big picture and ability to drive changes on strategic level.
  • Results Orientation: Strongly execution capability, operation and performance orientation; Pragmatic and “make it happen”-attitude; has drive and energy.
  • Collaboration & Influencing: Builds trust and value-based collaborative relationships in a global/regional matrix environment with different stakeholders; Strong communicator, challenge and feedback.
