What you´ll do
The Quality Manager is responsible for executing the quality strategy within the company's QMS framework to improve production quality and drive continuous improvement in Quality KPIs, such as defect rates and scrap/rework costs due to nonconformance. The Quality Manager works closely with customers and suppliers to address quality issues. They collaborate with many teams to monitor and enhance current manufacturing practices and processes.
- Actively lead efforts to reduce both internal and external product nonconformance rates measured in both percentage and non-conforming PPMs
- Maintain QMS procedures and processes in compliance with ISO 9001 specifications.
- Proven experience in RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone frameworks
- Track and report on key quality metrics on a regular basis using Lean Daily Management techniques (Gemba board and PDCA (Plan Do Check Act) tracker)
- Conduct random inspections and quality control checks. Review quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance
- The majority of the time will be spent on the production floor, assessing current processes and ensuring quality compliance
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent experience required (Chemical Engineering preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of two years in a Quality leadership role
- IIA ISO9001 audit certification preferred
- Experience working in MRP/MPS systems (SAP preferred)
- SQS Experience preferred
- Ability to travel domestically at least 25% of the time

The salary for this role is $94,000.00 - $100,000.00 This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
