About this Position

The Process Engineer optimizes the equipment performance. This position expert will drive implementation of global best practices across all lines in the area and is responsible for safety, quality, people capability for the cell. The process Engineer designs, implements and maintains systems to collect and analyze data to prioritized the tasks.  

What you´ll do

  • Drives improvement, identifies, prioritizes and eliminates both process and losses. Eliminates or reduces (prioritized) losses through the use of correct tools (defining and implementing standards in the area).
  • Keeps the team focused on addressing key issues & priorities based on decision criteria achievement 
  • Standardizes equipment and work processes flow documentation.
  • Owns the change management and validation processes.
  • Updates process control strategies and SOP's as changes occur.
  • Shares and reapplies learning across equipment & lines.
  • Prepares and gives training on process/equipment and updates them.
  • Shares learnings and good practices with and from other cells.

What makes you a good fit

  • Engineer Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar industrial environment
  • Change Driver and Team Player
  • Results Oriented
  • Strong sense of sharing as the Process Engineer will deliver trainings in the plant
  • Strong communication in both French and English : verbal and written
