What you'll do
We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to take a strategic role in managing and optimizing our company’s tax processes while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The role will involve leading tax planning efforts, maintaining efficient interactions with tax authorities and consultants, and contributing to critical business decisions with tax implications
- Drive the optimization of tax-related expenses by leveraging tax options and available incentives.
- Ensure full compliance with VAT, income taxes, corporate taxes, and other relevant tax requirements.
- Act as the primary tax advisor, supporting the implementation of robust tax processes and procedures.
- Represent the company in tax inspections, manage tax claims, and oversee litigation matters.
- Deliver accurate and timely tax reporting to internal stakeholders and external authorities.
- Prepare deferred tax calculations for IFRS reporting purposes
- Execute the Inflation Accounting process
- Collaborate on projects with tax implications, including investment initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, system migrations, and legal restructuring programs.
- Implement new tax regulations, ensuring their integration into the organization’s processes and controls.
What makes you a good fit
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree with at least 5+ years of progressive experience in tax compliance, planning, and reporting, with a strong focus on corporate tax matters.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Turkish tax laws and international tax regulations.
- Proven experience advising large organizations on complex Turkish and international tax topics.
- Demonstrated integrity, customer-focused approach, and an aptitude for leveraging digital solutions.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate and address complex tax issues.
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across teams and functions.
- Commitment to professional growth through staying informed of tax legislation changes and industry trends.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Turkish, with the ability to clearly articulate tax concepts to non-tax professionals and cross-functional teams.
