About this position

As part of the ANZ Sales Leadership Team, the role of National Business Manager Foodstuffs NZ is critical in leading the delivery of joint business plans to deliver profitable growth for customers, across key categories and brands.  Create impact by achieving the sales targets, distribution and profitability for the Henkel Consumer Brand Foodstuffs NZ business. Ideally this role is suited to an experienced National Business Manager, who has led a team managing either Foodstuffs NZ or Woolworths NZ.

What you'll do

  • Lead the Henkel Foodstuffs NZ Team (4 direct reports) to build a strong collaborative approach to deliver sustainable value to both parties.
  • Develop and implement strategic /commercial joint business plans with Foodstuffs NZ aligned with Henkel’s objectives to achieve mutual growth for both parties. 
  • Play a lead role in the leadership of the overall ANZ Henkel Consumer Brands Sales team as a valued member of the ANZ Sales Leadership team.
  • Working closely with cross functional teams to own current & future financial interactions, forecast & demand plan.
  • Work as a commercially savvy strategic partner, building strong rapport, relationships and effective communication both internally and externally. 

What makes you a good fit

  • Minimum of 5+ years in a National Business Management role or similar Sales role. 
  • Strong track record in Retail FMCG National Business management coupled with outstanding commercial acumen.
  • An exceptional negotiator with strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and direct strategies and build relationships.
  • Resilience – demonstrated ability to cope with ambiguity and overcoming challenges.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a diverse team.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification is preferred.
