What you'll do
- Acts as the main purchasing business partner for Supply Chain and the primary local point of contact for all Business Units' departments regarding logistics services procurement.
- Serves as the regional expert for sourcing Warehousing, Logistics equipment, and Road & Rail freight.
- Manages relationships with Henkel's local and regional stakeholders.
- Leads sourcing projects to meet Henkel's logistics services requirements.
- Owns the relationship with Henkel's suppliers for logistics services and is responsible for strategic supplier evaluation.
- Leads all negotiations with Henkel's logistics suppliers.
- Executes all logistics purchasing activities within Henkel's framework, adhering to category strategies and purchasing processes.
- Provides inputs to build gross price index and Cost Chase Data Base for the categories under responsibility.
- Ensures the successful implementation of sourcing projects in coordination with local/regional stakeholders.
- Generates contracts for logistics services in accordance with local regulations and fully aligned with Henkel’s standards, including legal, SHE, insurance, and Supply Chain requirements.
What makes you a good fit
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing of logistics services.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on achieving targets and sustainability objectives.
