What you'll do
- In this role, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic, fast-paced analytics team that creates data insights for stakeholders across the Henkel Supply Chain, enabling smarter and faster decision-making
As a key contributor, you'll be responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that the development lifecycle flows smoothly, from code to deployment. You’ll work closely with your product team to continuously improve and streamline these pipelines, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and optimized for performance - Your day-to-day tasks will revolve around Git version control, where you'll handle everything from versioning and branch management to ensuring code quality. Collaboration will be key as you and your teammates manage multiple branches, review each other’s work, and ensure the integrity of the codebase
- As a data engineer, you’ll spend significant time building scalable solutions that handle large volumes of data efficiently. This includes optimizing the way data is stored and retrieved, ensuring smooth performance. You’ll also be involved in complex data transformations, manipulating data to provide meaningful insights for business stakeholders across the Henkel Supply Chain
- In addition to development work, you'll engage in debugging and solving technical issues reported by users. Whether addressing code bugs or data discrepancies, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and resolving problems quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- You'll work in an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies. Your contributions to sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives will help drive continuous improvement across the board
- This role offers a balance of deep technical work, collaboration, and the chance to make a real impact by solving complex problems in data processing, software development, and troubleshooting technical issues that arise during production or reported by users
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent English speaker
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering / data analysis with a focus on data engineering and Python.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Minimum salary: 1900 EUR gross (Of course, an overpayment is possible depending on the respective training, qualification and professional experience. The gross salary is based on these aforementioned criteria and is finally determined after the personal interview.)
