YOUR ROLE
- Act as the local SPOC for the eCommerce product in North America, gathering and prioritizing feedback from regional stakeholders (eCommerce, sales, marketing, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Global Product Owner to align local priorities with global strategy and advocate for NA-specific features.
- Leverage eCommerce knowledge to drive the development of product features that enhance customer experience and optimize online shopping.
- Define, document, and manage regional product features, ensuring they are development-ready and align with business goals.
- Engage with stakeholders to translate their needs into technical requirements and manage their expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to the technical implementation of eCommerce features.
- Oversee and participate in regional user acceptance testing, ensuring successful validation and release of regional product features.
- Provide training and create localized documentation to ensure local teams are equipped to use the latest eCommerce features.
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years relevant work experience working in agile software development
- 2+ years relevant work experience in eCommerce
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, web technologies, APIs, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Agile Methodology Expertise: Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks, including Scrum, and the ability to work within cross-functional Agile teams.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make informed decisions.
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of user experience principles and the ability to prioritize features that enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Deadline and Scope Management: Understanding of deadlines, constraints, and scope of delivery, with experience working with business partners to balance these effectively, set expectations, and manage risks proactively.
- Preferred experience in implementing and managing B2B eCommerce platforms, including integration with ERP systems, handling complex product catalogs, promotional pricing, and custom API development to support customer-specific features and workflows.
- Preferred previous experience working in the beauty or cosmetics industry, with an understanding of industry-specific trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
The salary for this role is $95,000.00 - $120,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
