YOUR ROLE
- Service the technical needs of Henkel’s designated US laminating customers
- Perform service visits or equipment audits at customers
- Assist in troubleshooting customer issues over the phone and make visit if needed
- Run Henkel laminating product demonstrations at customers
- Deep understanding of Henkel’s adhesive foaming equipment (including Hansa Glue Mix 1, 2 XL, 3, Perpetual, Aerobond X) and be able to troubleshoot issues and complete installation
- Knowledge of Henkel’s laminating adhesive product line Conduct laminating training seminars for customer employees
- Assist in product complaint investigations with customers on site or over the phone
- Service visits or equipment audits include: Talk to key customer contacts and operators about any issues to address
- Check adhesive performance on laminator (fiber tear, layflat, machining, etc.) Observe customer’s laminator and report noticeable mechanical issues
- Confirm proper Kohler rod or GapPro settings (if applicable) Assist customer in troubleshooting finished lamination board quality issues If foaming, check foam rate and do routine foamer P.M. as needed
- Review all findings in an exit meeting with key customer personnel Electronic visit report using either tablet or laptop for every visit within 1 week
YOUR SKILLS
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years of Application Engineering field experience
- Knowledge of laminating machinery, substrates and adhesive requirements
- Strong mechanical skills Willingness to travel anywhere in the United States (up to 80%) Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

The salary for this role is $85,000.00 - $110,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
